Because they have recognized that the child is innocent and faultless. They are capable of loving the baby, and seperating their anger/fear of their attacker from the child.

Because they feel that it's not the baby's fault that it was the result of a rape. They might also be against abortion, or adoption.
I know it seems like someone might not want to keep the baby, because it will always remind them of the rape. But some mothers are able to separate the two - and really want the baby.

I have never been raped but I have been pregnant and while you are pregnant you develop this bond with your baby and once that baby has been inside you for 9 month feeding off of you and growing inside you finally comes out, it's hard to give up.

At the age of 13 I was raped and got impregnated! I have a wonderful son due because of it. I hate the man who did it but the gift of my son far outweighs the trauma.
Forgiveness is not forgetting, it's letting go of the pain!
This is MY story and I can't speak for anyone else...but my son is a gift from God that I have happily enjoyed for 28 years!

Rapists don't make babies, God does. A rapist is nothing more to the baby than a sperm donor. A woman who does not believe that abortion is right would most likely keep her innocent baby who has done nothing wrong to deserve death.

WELL I BELIEVE THAT THE ONES WHO KEEP THEIR BABIES DUE TO RAPE OBVIOUSLY DON'T BELIEVE IN ABORTION. I SAW A SHOW ON MURAY ABOUT RAPE VICTUMS WHO GET PREGNANT AND KEEP THE BABY.ONE GIRL STATED THAT IT WAS NOT THE BABIES FAULT THAT THE INCIDENT OCCURED AND THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES.

Because they become attached to them. And they form a bond with the baby. It's a person whatever way he/she came to be on Earth.

Because they are able to see past the abuse and violation and are able to love that child unconditionally.
There is nothing wrong with women who decide to keep those pregnancy, and there is nothing wrong with the women who decide that they can't, and have abortions.

B/C its still apart of them. Some people don't believe in abortion, and some people believe that what is meant to be will be. I don't know, you would have to ask someone it has happened to.
