1.) Don't expect you will agree about everything. Respect his/her differences and count them as strengths. (Unless he thinks stealing, murdering and arson are fun! )
2.) Tell your husband you love him with your words and actions. Find out (ask him) what makes him feel loved and try to do it. Don't assume this list will always stay the same. Little treats and kindness that you go out of your way to do mean a lot.
3.) If you have a family. Make time to talk to each other. Don't share your feelings with another opposite sex person. Take time to have fun together. Make strong, good memories. Life is hard, share good times whenever you can.
4.) Consider your faith. If you believe, attend services together. You can get a lot of strength and meet lifelong friends. God Bless and Good Luck!

Never forget romanceDon’tunderestimate the power of a sweet word or a warm caress Keep the respect for each otherIfyou don't have admiration for each other, things will not work. Its takes time Both of you are used to different things, different habits It is just the two of youKeep your marriage details and problems for yourselves and don’t let people influence your marriage. Keep the balance between giving and takingLoveis all about giving, but mind you, this does not mean that one partyshould take advantage of the other; it can't mean endless giving fromone partner and endless taking from the other

Talk to each other about anything and everything, don't hold anything back.
Show respect for each other. Never verbally or physically attack one another. If you have to cool down, go outside or leave the house for a little while to gather your thoughts.
Be honest with each other. Never hide anything. If you do, it will only cause distrust among the two of you if the other was to find out.
so much more I could add, but you only asked for 3

1. Communication! - Somehow, many of us forget how important it is to talk to your spouse.. about where you are going as a couple, what you want with your marriage.. etc.. We all change as we grow, we talk to our spouses about many things in the beginning.. but over time you think you know everything about each other.. but each of you will change over time and you need to continue talking to learn about eachother as these changes occur.
2. Remember to always provide time / energy for you as a couple.. too often we get caught up with work, kids, family, other obligations and just take it for granted that someday you will have time together.. but without the couple loving each other and being strong, the family and home fall apart.. make just as much time for one another as you would for every one else.
3. Sex... This can be a killer to a healthy marriage.. either one person wants more, one wants less or someone wants to try things the other person isn't interested in.. Try to be open minded and do all you can to keep the flame alive.. Remember how much effort you put into staying sexy and flirting/ etc.. with your spouse before marriage and try to apply the same effort to keeping sexy and hot.. :)

1. Don't try to change the other person. It will never work.
2. No secrets. This person is suppose to be your best friend that you can share anything with.
3. No lying. Biggest destroyer of relationships. Which would also include the don't cheat rule too.

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/savethemarriage
It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

Don't try to map out your entire life together. Just relax and be yourselves. That's what brought you together.
Learn the rules of "fair fighting", and practice them
Never never never use talking about leaving as a way to get your way, or strike back.
