Come on now...I know you're upset, but you have to still think rationally and reasonably in this situation. Beating someone with anything in this country is called ASSALT and you can very rapidly go to jail and do some serious time, particulary if the neighbor is hurt. Furthermore, unless you move or your neighbor moves, you will have to deal with the situation everyday.
DON'T DO IT.....Pray about it, forgive your neighbor and then forgive yourself. Go cat-shopping and pick yourself out a nice new kitten to love and care for. Keep your kitten/cat INSIDE your house...
