I was wondering if alcohol dissolved oil, and how much of it can it dissolve?

Yes, alcohol is a bipolar solvent and can dissolve oil. How much is a long and laborious chemistry problem. Which will be dependent upon.

type of oil
type of alcohol
temperature
impurities(dirty oil, water in alcohol, etc)

Best bet to see how much it will dissolve is to test it yourself. Simply mix them together, separate the alcohol, then boil the alcohol off, and see how much oil remains.

Which alcohol and which oil? All alcohols have a finite solubiliity in oil. Lower molecular weight alcohols are more polar and less soluble in the nonpolar oil.

If you mean will it remove oil, yes but not very effectively
