Some of the pictures display others have an x in the upper left corner. I can click on the x and click display picture and it will. I can do a refresh and pictures displayed will be totally different or no pictures will be displayed.

The x indicates that the image could not be retrieved from the server (bad/slow internet connection, images are blocked on the web browser, etc.)

Another great innovation from Microsoft! Loading pictures is too intensive on the processor which is better used for doing important tasks like fading in and out of beautifly crafted, scrolling, drop down menus. Get with the times, pictures are so 1800s!
