Maybe sometimes. But you won't get kicked out altogether from one person reporting you, no matter how many times they do it. On the contrary, they are more likely to get kicked out for unjustified reporting.

The report abuse function is pretty automated. It has to be, with the volume of traffic this site sees every day. But the staff have their own formulas for looking for trolls and others who do not follow the Community Guidelines, and they will get the abusers eventually.

If you see a question that is borderline in violation of Community Guidelines, write an answer that includes a line like, "Well, technically this is a violation, but I won't report you this time because . . ." But if something is clearly over the top, it really is a service to the Answers community to report it. We cannot let the trolls and the hatemongers take over!
