Most likely your brake light switch is malfunctioning.

This switch is located up the brake pedal and indicates when you are stepping on it.

Easiest way to find it is to push your front drivers seat all the way back. (You may have to remove a lower panel)
Then follow the brake pedal up until it exit out the firewall. Somewhere before it exits out the firewall, there's a switch.

This switch triggers the brake lights when you are stepping on the brake pedal. It's usually mounted in front of the brake pedal and also acts as a stopper as the brakes retract back after you've pressed on them.

Brake light switch, usually on the master cylinder. If they worked before the service, maybe during the work the wires got accidentaly pulled off.

maybe the brake switch got "unhooked" from the brake pedal,
just stick your head under the dash and look for a switch that connects to the brake pedal, mess with it and have someone look to see if the lights turn on by pushing(or pulling) on it.

Make sure your replacement bulb is exactly the same as the one you are replacing. Same as the fuse.

If not, try checking the wire near where the bulb is connected. Maybe is damage or rotten somewhere.

The wiring. Either to the electrical source or to whatever connects them to the brake pedal to tell them to turn on.

you prolly have a short in your wires. if so, you will have to rewire it or try to find the short and fix it. thats tough, i have a 1978 Ford F-150 custom truck that my dad has time trying to get my lights working because it has a shortage.
Good luck. =-p

Take it back where you had service done and have them correct the problem they caused.
