Can you 'prove' that they 'sold' liquor directly too the underage celebrity? If not they they can say they didn't sell it to that person they sold it to someone of age and then that person gave it to the underage celeb. Thus the club did nothing wrong, and if security see an underage person drinking they must throw them out, but offten the security gaurds look the other way

its not really selling them the alcohol..its how are they getting in the door? large bars and clubs take ids at the door so bartenders dont have to be bothered by it and can serve drinks faster

in the cities that these kids go clubbing at there are more problems for the city and police to worry about then busting underage drinkers

if you also pay attention to whats opening and closing..clubs in large cities are always being shut down and replaced by a new club where underage celebs will go ...its like a flavor of the month thing..most of them dont stay around very long

In general, a bar does not lose it license for selling to under-agers. They get fined. After so many instances, then their license gets suspended. If there are repeated offenses after then, then it's revoked.

The bars don't worry about the fines cuz if there are celebrities there drinking, obviously the bar can afford the fine - not to mention that it's free publicity.

Question is"did the establishment serve a minor, or did they serve someone on legal age and they supplied the alcohol to the minor?" Unless its proven that minors are served(by video) or other means, there is no proof.

1. The celebs have several types of ID - most of them false!

2. Most of the places they go to drink KNOW them and at the end of the month, their financial advisors have the authorization to send bar tabs and payments BEYOND what they drank. (they also do this for hotels, restaurants, etc.)

3. They don't carry money or ID's and rely on their 'friends' and 'flunkies' to "handle it"

Even though it is against the law, they think that celebrities will bring attention and popularity to their bars. And the law always provides "special treatments" to celebrities, lame i know, but true.
