Nancy Pelosi denounced her as her mother- she doesn't like Judge Judy telling her the truth, and making decisions as she does. Judge Judy tells her daughter Nancy to use common sense-Nancy doesn't know what that is. Judge Judy is a conservative Republican and knows the world doesn't revolve around San Francisco.

She seems to make the law up as she goes along, judging according to what she personally "feels" is right. That tends to make me thing she's a liberal. But then again, Judge Judy is just her TV persona. She may actually be a rational person in real life.

She's got a home in a very nice area of Naples, Fla., a very conservative area, and very wealthy. Considering that most wealthy prefer to keep whats theirs and not give the downtrodden a chance, I'll wager she's a Republican. Based only on a guess.

Since she earns $1 mil a show, and according to her decisions, and the fact that she clearly stated on Larry King Live that she is opposed to same sex marriage (yet tells the litigants repeatedly that they are not entitled to the same protections as married couples), one can only assume that she is a Republican.

It is a known fact when she ran for Judge in her original position as a bench Judge, she ran as a republican. Her husband, who is also a judge is also a staunch republican.

I think she has more conservative views in her judgements and how she renders her positions. She has a tendency to express her views and judgements more towards motherly, all beit strongly.

Given her new salary of 25 million a year, I'd say she might lean Republican but only for tax purposes.

Judge Judy gives (and encourages others to give) straight answers to questions. Therefor she cannot be affiliated with politics in any way.
