Yes, there is. The problem is that the liberal media and the Democrats are in bed together with big business.......and they control the money for campaigning and the outflow of 'news' (which is geared AGAINST good people running for office). There is a huge liberal, left wing conspiracy that is powerful ...... and not enough Americans are aware of it, or band together enough to dismantle it. SUBVERSIVE is the name of the Democrat's clever political machine. It is evil incorporated. Do a Google search on the NEW WORLD ORDER.

Nice grammar. If there were enough good people who were not so lazy as to stay home on Election Day, the Democrats would be IN power. And they will be after 2008.

Judging by the conduct of the Republicans in Washington lately I'd say that's definitely in question - your use of the word "good" that is. Does of the conduct of your representatives reflect the morals of the rest of your party? Apparently there are Republicans out there who understand just how much trouble your party is in:
"Jesus himself could come back as a Republican candidate these days and there would still be some people saying, 'I don't know about that guy.'"
South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford

Why on earth would one want to do that? The Democrats are, once again, having to clean up the mess left by Republicans.
Don't be the least bit surprised at a Democratic landslide like the 1964 defeat of Barry Goldwater by Lyndon Johnson which also meant more seats for the Democrats in both houses of Congress. The neocons led the GOP down the wrong path and people are angry right now. They will bounce back but not in 2008.

Actually, while the liberal left is the loudest, the conservative right has the numbers. The problem is, they won't get off their lazy butts to vote. Les than 25% of regestered voters vote during a normal election. It takes forever to get enough republicans stirred up enough to vote. Clinton managed to irritate enough people that we won the next election. Bush wasn't the best choice, but he is living proof we americans would rather elect an idiot than a democrat. If Fred Thompson wins, we will have a great president. If Hillary wins, we will have a worthless social healthcare program, more and more taxes, no military, and far fewer rights. That's her track record, and she may act like it to get elected, but she isn't gonna change.

I hope so. History is on the republicans side, it has been over 30 years since a democrat has gotten more than 50% of the popular vote and only 12 of the last 29 years a dem has been on the White House. Also JFK was the last time a Senator was elected president, and both of the dems top candidates are senators while only McCain who is fading fast is a senator on the republican side.

Good? Is your definition of good having a trillion dollar debt? A war? Amnesty for millions of illegal people so that big business can get bigger on their backs on a non livable wage?
Oh, by the way how are we going to pay for this war, and pay the debt and support all these new citizens? With taxes; that is how.
There is no free lunch; the bill comes sooner or later.

Only if such good people vote in November, 2008.
When there is low voter turnout, the Democrats win. When there is high voter turnout, the GOP takes it.
GOP must get out the vote!
