lol um, something tells me that object really is talking to you... or maybe what you're imagining isn't them talking, per say, but rather making indistinguishable noises that i won't go into further explanation of.....

This question reminds me of when I was a child. My father, bless his heart, thought that if I attended a funeral as a child, I would not be afraid of death and dying....so, the first funeral I went to was an old man of our church. I didn't remember him then and I certainly don't remember him now, but the day of his service is imprinted on my brain forever! They had tall, pink-bulbed lamps on each side of the casket. The church lights were lowered to almost darkness! He was in a dark blue suit with a strange hat on his head that had a gold tassel on the side. I later learned he was a Mason and there is a specialized service for these members. I sat in the back of the church, like an idiot. I thought well , if I have to get out, I'll be the first one....wrong...my dad made me come up and 'look' and I could swear he was breathing.
Having said all that - I do believe that if you look at an inanimate object long enough, your brain has the power to personify that object. I also believe that objects do take on some 'life' of their own - because everything created has a spirit.

Well I've never had that experience myself, but I think it plays off of two spiritual beliefs:
1) All objects, being made from energy molecules, have a spirit or life of their own.
2) If you are able to clear your mind you can sense the energy of other things.
I feel like I can sense energy without clearing my mind, but clearing my mind completely, as in stopping all thoughts, seems like an impossible task to me.

Only if the object in question is a human-being.
Usually they say stuff like, "What the heck is YOUR problem?" or "Quit staring at me!" or "Didn't you get my restraining order?"

I dunno... if you listen to a noise long enough, can you almost see it? For that matter, if you stare at an object for an object for a long time, can you almost smell, taste, or touch it?
My point is, if you keep it up, you'll end up just like me. :)

Uhm, no. But if I stare at it long enough sometimes I feel like I should be able to move it with my mind. Like in that movie with John Travolta... Phenominon? ...I know its spelt wrong.
