this is a woman singing solo - in one version she talks about sitting in a diner, pouring milk in her coffee. In the other version she talks about "I Dream of Jeannie" characters.

Tom's Diner by Suzanne Vega is right - I am also sure there is a version where she talks about Dr. Bellows and Major Nelson from I dream of Jeannie.

the first version sounds like 'Tom's diner' by Suzanne Vega. i haven't got a scoobies about the other though.
