I'm 48 and like a lot of modern harderrock groups. If anything I like more hard rock than my 15 yr old son does. I was into heavy metal music in the 1980's, although you'd never guess that by looking at me - I didn't live or dress the part, I just liked the music. I, too have watched the Fairly oddparents, AND Spongebob, although that's usually when I have the kids over and they're watching it

I'm almost 50 and I like Green-day. I also like Fairly Odd parents, the Simpson's, Southpark, and a lot of other cartoon comedies. What does age have to do with it?

I am 46 and like green day. Being an unskilled f.o.sh*t pop psychologist I'd like to say that you are looking to retain your relevancy by broadcasting your identification with conteporary cultural zeitgeist. Its not a criticism. At least you care. I bet you're fun. Or maybe you're on your way to a mental breakdown. Hmmm...fairly odd parents.... perhaps I will try and download a bittorrent.

I saw that cartoon and it is nuts! :-) I sometimes watch the
old cartoons yes, I have Pink Panther, Yogi Bear, Top
Cat and Huckleberry Hound DVDs.
My husband likes the new kind of music. Did Green Day
do the one song that goes "I hope you had the time of
your life?" I like that song.
Neither one of us cares to get tattoos though.

sWell I'm a 50 year old guy and never heard of "fairly old parents".
But do whatever spins your wheel, man. As flower children we both should never forget the 60's and 70's and the message they gave us.
Good luck

tattoos of cartoon characters is not a good idea. Nothing wierd about liking Green Day and being 50. But I hope you like other music too. Watching cartoons alone is fine, but i think its strange you have a favorite cartoon.

Is it weird to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, a sun rise, a cross word puzzle?
There is nothing wrong with enjoying what you enjoy.
