Obviously the Duggars, and whoever else wants to have as many.

If a couple should choose to have a large family and can afford to do it, then whats the problem???? The Duggars seem to be doing quite well financially and raising well rounded kids to me. Kudos to them!!

Back in the days when there was no such thing as contraception and infant mortality rate was high, a family with 17 kids would not have been extraordinary. The odds of losing that many children to disease and injury were slim, so it was even more likely that at least one or two would survive to adulthood.

I saw that, but growing up in Utah I knew a family that beats that. They had 21 kids. The woman looked like she had been run over by a truck. I don't understand why anyone would want to have that many children, either. But, if they can afford it, to each his own. I only have an issue with it when they keep having them and they are unable to afford them. Then you know where that money comes from.
Edit: Me & my husband stopped at 2, we figured more than that & they outnumber you ;-)

As much as I loved being pregnant and babies/kids, 17 is WAY too much! After 4 I would be waving the white flag!

So whats wrong with having a lot of kids? If you've ever seen their show on TLC you would know that they are a very loving family.

Yes I was watching that ... I dunno I think 6 would be my highest number of children unless I was rich then I'd just adopt tons of children!

My mom wanted 22 children thank God she only had 4!! I ended up taking care of them NOT her she never did a damn thing so .... Taking care of them and their children was enough for me!! Being stuck with more I would have killed them!
