I wish to change a cd I have already saved in my files to MP3
in order to load into Imeem it can not be WMA.

There are many converter programs out there, but one program, that is actually an audio editor, can also convert them. It is called "Audacity", and it is free. And fun.

There are programs that can convert WMA to MP3 but an easier way is to burn an audio CD from the WMA files and then rip the CD into MP3 files

yes. download a program called 'dbPowerAmp music converter' (full version) it'll work wonders for your wma to mp3 woes.
