just listened to "a lonely september" by Plain White T's, and just realised that i can relate to everything that was sung. has that ever happened to you, and if yes then what song?

That's happened to me before, with several songs. But I think a lot of the times, the song depicts what I am feeling at the time. Like a year later I could listen to it and say "that song really described me back then, but now I hardly have a thing in common with it".

I love music, though. So I guess I can really relate to songwriters and musicians and feel what they were feeling in almost any song. Well, not all songs. Some songs I listen to and later think "that person must have issues" or something and--where was I? O, right. Yes, I can relate.

i don't remember the song title a line is "try to save a life?" i was walking to work at 4 am and my son was just born the day before...healthy...the song came on my walkman, and i literally got down on my knees started crying and thanking god that he didn't come out retarded or disabled.I know how that sounds but i haven't always taken care of myself right, and that might've affected him, it might not have been my life as exact lyrics, but i was so vulnerable when i heard it .

sweety, theres so many songs out there that I can relate too.. that its almost sickening.. lol. i love plain white t's, i listen to "hey there delilah" every single morning. every single word in that song, is exactly what i am and have gone thru with my baby. enjoy it. dont dwell on it. ;]
