All hip hop.

Then within a few years he's spittin crap with J-Hoe and lickin his lips like a KFC addict! I blame MTV, they must be giving him candy & fluffers at the recording studios if he kept making that bullshucks. I used to love him though, that's all i'm saying.

I know he loves his body a bit too much & he's gettin mad corn from his played out style & he got some weird thang goin' on about his bald head being without a hat but damn.... WHY!!!!!!

Firstly, Hip Hip is not always about being Gangsta. 2nd, LL has always had an element of fake about him as he never quite came off as a 'real hood artist' amongst his peers (hence the battles on wax he had) but he always came through and never really said he was gangsta just lyrically dopa.

I think the fact that he has been going on so long is down to 2 things. 1 being that yes he appeals to the ladies and makes mad sales from that. 2nd he did always have some skills otherwise the gentlemen folk wouldn't have bought his music either. However, if by saying that just because he has sex appeal and can deliver a decent line that he is somehow wrong to responsibly use a little of what his Momma gave him then perhaps Beyonce is following the same path as for me there is little or no difference. The guy loves his body (including his brain and vocals) because it has made him a multi-millionaire, wouldn't you?. In my opinion he still has 50 times more talent than 50 cent who is also making money off his body, then being shot nine times (like that's a good thing!?!), his monotone vocals and furthermore talking trash half the time! At least LL has stuck to his niche of boast lyrics and loving the ladies them. I know which I prefer, for real!

Anyway, check "Feel The Beat / Headsprung" for a slightly more contemporary version of the LL you may have missed.

Lastly I think the hatless LL represents his move to adulthood, ie. as a teenager/early 20s he wore Kangols as was the fashion of the youth, now he is a grown man he no longer needs the paraphinalia to state his case so to speak.

P.S. my crow thinks he is sexy. She wants to peck his lips off on stage. I'm a little concerned.

Yeah I have seen that with a lot of artists. the fame gets to them and they sorta think they can do anything like show off his/her body more and more. Most artists will be heard if they have a beat and sound that people love. Size does have a say in it for some, but that is wrong to judge talent to weight. So really he has gone down the wrong path of fame. There is the conceited fame that turns the artist's fans against him and then there's the amazing fame(the good kind) that makes the artist's fans think wow they blew us away again. I mean a lot of them might come from badder background or better backgrounds it just depends on how much that artist can stand pressure and fame/glory. LL Cool J was one of the few rap artists I like because you have to be a good rapper (in my opinion) to entertain me. Then he became a totally other person like he had an alter ego. So I don't listen to him any more. I find better music and I still don't get why some rappers put such profanity into their music that send signals of sex, alcohol, drugs, and violence. This is my opinion and coudl be different to multiple peoples, I don't know. Hope this answers your question!

Singing is something that everybody can learn and improve. Of course, some are more naturally skilled than others, but even a poor voice can be overcome by dedication, practice, and more practice. Even if you're content to sing in the shower, there are some things you can do to improve your voice. This is probably the best online course to improve your singing skills https://tr.im/WmU1E

LL needs competition. Being a natural battle rapper, he's like a fish outta water these days. Cannibus brought him back for a sec, but...you know the rest.

Maybe he should war with 50 Cent or Lil Wayne. lol

Bottom line - As the last survivor of his era, he doesn't feel it's time to quit yet. He has the look to compete in today's market, so he does. His skills? They rest in the classic era of his former peers. He should only come out for big collabo songs/singles like the other greats.

It's simple. SEX SELLS. And he is sexy as all hell. So of course if since he is not gangsta at all he needs to appeal to the females. And it is working for him. I can proudly say I have never purchased a LL CD but there are plenty of women that will run on Tuesday's to cop the new LL LOL. I always say real recognize real and he is making real good money on these women paying a arm and a leg to see him like his lips. .

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/ltHxA an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.

HAHAHA. I know probably to get a bigger fanbase. Over the years he has sold out a little. There are rumors that he's even going to join G-unit after his last album with Def Jam. That's why Canibus put him in his place back in 2000. Thats probably another reason why he's like that now.

LL Cool J was always soft. "I need love". Come on. Yeah, that's real gangsta.

I have no idea.
Try asking the man himself.
If he doesn't know then nobody does.
