Any day now since he only needs one more. Number 500 for A-Rod is just one more on his way to 800.

He admitted he's been pressing too much to hit 500. I believe it will definitely happen this weekend now that he should be more relaxed. He said that he needs to just relax at the plate and just let it happen. Besides, the Yankees get to play the Royals again. If he can't hit a homerun against them, he may need a week off to clear his mind. Notice how Bonds is having a hard time as well in his homerun pursuit. Once they get to that point when they need only 1 more, it's on their mind every time they come to the plate. It's psychological and that's why their stuck where they are. Their just trying too hard.

Odalis Perez is pitching for the Royals tonight. No way he keeps A-Rod in the yard all night. By 10 PM he will have 500.

He will hit the 500th Monday against the Blue Jays. The Blue Jays will win this game but that won't overshadow his great accomplishment!

Go Blue Jays!
