Yes, and so does the constitution. Because declaring a day of prayer means nothing, but to establish religion. I'm sure everyone who wanted to pray would have been able to do so rather it was an official day or not. Calling for a day of prayer doesn't affect anything other then to support religion from the government, something that is not supposed to happen.

Where do you get this info? The first seven presidents were Diests if not athiests. They worked very hard to keep religion and state seperated. Read some history. I am most outraged because people don't know the facts and try to make it seem like our forefathers were screaming evangelicals. They were smarter than that.

There is a big difference between calling for a day of prayer and making a law mandating prayer. Liberals seem to have trouble distinguishing the difference.

Didn't Jefferson (founder of the Democrats) call for a day of slave-raping?

Using prayer to spread your brand of hate. You are either innovative or very spiritually sick. I'm thinking the latter.

No, liberals believe in free speech and freedom to believe whatever you want.
Pray to the tooth fairy if it makes you happy.
Just don't make me listen to you pray to the tooth fairy at a government-sponsored function.
