Hello.I would vote to keep the Union which is better known as the United Kingdom. The four regions namely England, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales are strong when united and very weak when disunited. I agree with a previous writer who says that the EU & the USA are our greatest threats.

The Empire was disbanded many years ago. However, if Scotland, Wales and N.I. wish to leave the Union, then so be it. It makes little difference because the E.U. has already carved the U.K. up into regions decided by Brussels.

What does it matter, eventually we'll cease to exist as a nation and the country will be split up to be regions of the EU. 70% of the laws of this country originate from unelected people in the EU. I'd rather have a vote on getting out of that, but to answer your question I would vote to keep the UK

If Ireland Scotland and Wales really want Independence other than not breaking up the British armed forces why not,
the Empire has been dead in the water for so long that it has all but disbanded itself, the only trouble with all this is,
that we are dishing out citizenship to all and sundry. soon there wont be enough of England left to worry about

LET THE SCOTS BE LIKE QUEBEQUE and if it works let the Welsh get the same rights ... they are nations with culture and language and religion ... The sun sets on the "United Kingdom" like any where else ... the conquest corrupts not only in the Middle East or Central Europe (Communism) or in Africa no matter how you call it ...
The EU is good enough for Economical considerations

I think its the choice of the country in question...if they want to remain part of the Uk then let them and if not then let go holding onto a country that doesnt want to be English will only increase hatred

I dont regard myself as British, just English so if I had the choice for England to gain independence I would very much vote for it.

Hey I'm Welsh and I love being part of the UK. My other half is English.
Don't tar all us Welsh with the same brush because of the rantings of a few half baked, inbred Nationalists!

We are like a bundle of wood. Together we can be strong but separate we are weak. That has not got through to the so called independence factions
