It is possible to purchase things on the net with such a card. But you are 14 therefor making it illegal for you to have one so I would suggest asking the owner of the card you would like to use before you do so. :)

It is much safer to use a regular credit card on line. These cards are not directly linked to the money in ones bank account which is usually necessary to live off of. This way if someone somehow gets the card number you can file a claim with the credit card company instead of having your life savings drained.

Yes, you can buy items online with a atm/debit card as long as there is a visa logo on it. But, I advise you not to do that, I bought some shoes off line with my atm/debit card. The company used that information to open up accounts in my name and charged stuff to my bank account which was linked to my atm/debit card. Hope this helps.

You can if it has a Visa or Mastercard symbol. And if its your own bank account, and not your parents!

However, buying online with a debit card is never a good idea. There could be issues if you dispute the merchandise, or they may charge your card multiple times in error, bringing the account under. There's also the added risk of purchasing via your checking account online, where there's always a chance (thought sometimes slim) that your card number will be stolen.

Technically yes. However, using your ATM/Debit card online gives a direct line into your bank account. When shopping online, it is better to have a regular credit card with a low limit on it. If your card info is phished or hacked, the perp won't be able to put you in such a bind - like draining your bank account!

If the card has a MasterCard or Visa. Yes you can.

No, it is not illegal for minors to have a debit cards. Otherwise there would not be cards like payjr, Visa Buxx prepaid card, Mastercard gift card or Visa gift cards.

Visa Electron or Maestro (Mainly for the UK) can work if your bank and the merchant supports web transactions.

You can, but it is debited to your bank account on order date or shipment date.
Better to use a "credit card" in the event there is a dispute or discrepancy. It's tough to get a credit on a debit card.
A credit card can be disputed and not paid until the dispute is settled.
