If I take my laptop to a client site, and I'm using a Verizon broadband card to connect to the Internet, is there anyway to print to the client's networked printers (when no physical connection to their printer is possible)?

It depends on how the clients printers are setup -- but yes it is possible and commonly done in businesses and schools. You need to find out the IP Address for their printer and setup a networked printer in your printer settings.

Your laptop may likely have built in 802.11 wireless. If your client has a wireless access point, you could connect through that. If they do not, you could connect to their network via network cable, install the printer on your laptop, and print. It might be easier if you email the file to one of their computers, or use a USB to copy to their computer, and print from there.

Since their network, and all network devices, will surely be using local IPs and a firewall, you cannot print from the internet (via your card) directly to a local printer.

If you're connected to the internet with your Verizion card you won't be able to print to their printers. Sorry

If you know the IP address and the network name and path and they give you permission to access the printer, should not be a problem
