Not yet, but he could be a candidate by the time he retires.
Right now his career average is about .300 with 244 home runs, and he's 31.
If he gets about 10 more homers this year, and plays 6 or 7 more years after that and gets about 25 homers a year, he'll have over 400. If he does that and keeps his average close to .300 he'll have a shot.

Not really. Berkman is good but he is probably not HOF material. HOFers make an impact on the game and sometimes change it for the better. But Berkman makes my fantasy baseball HOF since he's doing awesome these last few games.

OPS particularly isn't being regarded at (on the 2d) for everyday stats, this is going to be, yet i've got in no way considered a author/voter justify his %./non-%. with the help of OPS. That being stated, you nevertheless prefer 10 seasons and 4000 at bats basically to be on the polland very few human beings, in the event that they retired with the minimum necessary to qualify could get in. Is he a HOFer? properly, now, no. If he retired the following day, he has no possibility at entering into. you basically ought to look on the # of folk with a .3 hundred avg, 3 hundred hrs and below one thousand RBI to verify that it, in itself, isn't dominance. If he maintains down the line, returned, how some distance. 2500 hits, 500 HRs, 1700 RBI is probable adequate to get him elected. He nevertheless has far to shuttle

No
...not even remotely close.
He put up good numbers for a couple of seasons during the "steroids era." But he is a defensive liability and boy has he dropped off hard this season. So, which player is he?
