I use my debit card to purchase online quite often. You have to be careful when shopping online, however. I have been burned before. Make sure, before you place an order or even give your card info, that there is a contact phone number listed somewhere on the site for the company you are planning to give your money to. It might be a good idea to actually call that number and talk to a customer service rep to make sure it's a secure site. I've ordered from WalMart, Target, Sears, J.C. Penney, etc. The bigger the name, the more secure that site probably is. BE CAREFUL and ask questions!

It is very easy....all you have to do is first make sure that your card has a credit card logo on the bottom corner of the card...for instance...visa, master-card, discover, american express, etc... Just a word of wisdom do not over spend yourself....i had a credit card at age 14 too and went a little crazy....some websited require you to be 18 or older so make sure before you buy...also some sites make you sign up for an user name and password....this requires a valid e-mail address so that is just one more thing that you need to think about! but ne ways happy shopping!

Yes, you can buy items online with a atm/debit card as long as there is a visa logo on it. But, I advise you not to do that, I bought some shoes off line with my atm/debit card. The company used that information to open up accounts in my name and charged stuff to my bank account which was linked to my atm/debit card. Hope this helps.

You shouldn't have a atm/debit card at 14 years old.
But anyway, if it has a Visa or Mastercard logo at the bottom of the card, then just type in the number as a credit card.

Yes you can:however if you use your debit card on-line remember that the card gives that place access to your bank account. They take money out of your account. If you you have a problem ( double billing, broken) it is not the same as a credit card. The credit card company holds the money. Debit card the store is holding your money. It is harder to get your money back into your account if the store is not credible

You can but I would advise against it. With a credit card, you can dispute fraudulent charges in anyone gets ahold of your information. With a debit card, you can still dispute them, but only after the money is deducted from your checking account. It is therefore more dangerous.

dont do it!!!
Buy a gift credit card. Sometime companies can make mistakes and keep charging your card. Ive seen it happen too many times. Its hard and a long prosses with the bank to straighten it out.

No, it has to have a visa or MasterCard symbol. Safeway, or alot of banks sell reloadable visa gift cards that I recommend using.

Yes you can. Also, depending on what you buy, you may have to submit proof of age...meaning some products may only be for persons 18+.
