in case some people don't know seung yeop lee is a korean slugger and asias most best hitter. in my opinion he is better than most anerican players. i want opinions from other people.

He has demonstrated that he can hit with power, in Japan, and is probably a solid player. However, there is no way you can compare him to the better players in MLB. He is 32 years old and we will never see him in MLB and will never know what he could accomplish here.

Look at the "great" Japanese hitters that have come to America. Is he better than they are? Probably not. And the current Japanese hitters in MLB are not setting the baseball world on fire. Matsui is a nice hitter and above average, but not a great hitter. Ichiro hits for a high average, but he has no power. There are many American hitters I would take over either one of them.

he played for the korean team during the WBC right? if so i think i know who he is, he is a better hitter on the korean lineup. but whether if he is better than most mlb players, i think not. I would think hideki matsui is a better hitter, or even ichiro.
