When the page has opened (smaller than you want it to be), put the mouse cursor on any of the edges. You'll know when you're right, It'll change shape. Then left click, hold it down and drag it to the edge of the screen. After that windows should remember what you did and open up at that size again.

Maximize the windows (by clicking the square icon in the upper right hand corner) and then close the browser. The next time the window is opened, it will open in full screen mode.

To get them to OPEN UP full sized, drag the corners of your browser window, until it fits the full screen. Then close it. Then next windows you open should be that same size.

Windows remembers the last way you accessed a program. Open IE/Firefox, stretch it to the way you like it. Then close all windows. It should remember that configuration when you open it up again.
