Find an employer with good healthcare benefits...you will NEVER regret that. I pay about $700 US a year for just me, and have to pay $20 everytime I see a doctor or have a prescription for meds filled. I think that is considered a pretty good plan. Overall in the US there is a class system with healthcare...if you are rich and/or have a good healthcare plan you get great care...if not then you get very sub-standard care.

if you have to ask how much, you can't afford it. Suggest as soon as you get to Boston, you get a job that provides you with good health insurance, then with the insurance it shouldn't cost you more than a few thousand dollars.
