I am talking about either the NFL or College Football. Are you into it right away, first preseason game, first regular game, playoffs? With everything happening in other sports like baseball, with the playoff chases, basketball with the big trade, etc, etc. How quickly can you start rooting for your favorite team.

I love the offseason (obviously not as much as when they're playing)
but I love paying attention to the personel moves.

I keep updated on NFL news all year long. There are about 15 of us that have a draft day party every year, with lots of beer and meat. I am interested in preseason games because it gives me a glimpse of what the rookies can do. It won't be long before a lot of people stop caring about baseball. The Saints and the Steelers kick off the preseason this Sunday night at 8:00!

I keep my eyes on trades and rumors all year, but I can't wait for the kick off of the season. I'll watch preseason to some degree, never miss a BRONCO game all year.

I'm into College football right after the previous season ends I want to see the next. Yes, some people say I like it too much oh well. I'm just getting into the NFL though after the college season ends because I need to find somewhere to atleast watch football.

First preseason game. Especially this year because the Steelers (my favorite team) were in the first preseason game. We crushed the Saints by the way.

You get into it from day-1, although I definitely prefer college football to pro. If you're real passionate about your team, you follow them all year round, from the beginning of one season to the first game of the next.
