The first monkeys out of the barrel - very fun.
The rest are stiff and hard to extract from the barrel - due to the rigor mortis.
After three days - less fun, more smell.
Still - a barrel of monkeys used as fuel can power the average home for 4 days.
So there's lots of uses - it's not just about the fun; it's about the environment.

depends on if you get good monkeys or bad monkeys
bad monkeys will attack you ( what fun that would be; )
good monkey will probably throw poo at you (and unless you like monkey sh*t that's no fun)
so all in all a barrel of monkeys are no fun lmfao :}
