I'd hate to give up LT, but you did well for yourself in return.
First off, Matt Jones is a throwaway who is unlikely to ever produce first-round pick numbers. With Steven Jackson, you've got a top-tier back. He won't put up LT-type numbers, but he's among the first I'd choose once LT was off the board.
TO, as much as I dislike him, is an outstanding receiver who will put up big yardage and TD numbers. He has a good rapport with Romo, and I think he'll be ready to prove something this season. Colston won't repeat his numbers from last season, but he's a solid WR2 or WR3 option in that New Orleans offense.
I think you've quite clearly done well with this trade.

Crime of the century!
Did you point a gun at him?
You did very, very well on that trade. Matt Jones has been hurt, and is as of right now the #3 WR for JAX.
LT is LT, but Steven Jackson was incredible down the stretch last year. Throw in TO and Colston, and I think you have the balance to be THE early favorite for the championship if the rest of your team is decent. That's some serious touchdown production.
Now go grab Michael Turner and hope LT gets hurt.
Sick.
EDIT: And with due respect to anyone who will tell that LT can put you in the championship alone, he was dreadful last year during Week 16 of the fantasy playoffs. Matchups can make the difference, and Jackson has a weaker NFC schedule as a whole.

This is a pretty good trade for you because you are getting two good WR's who will finish in the top 15 in fantasy football this year. Lets start with Steven Jackson last year he led the RBs in most caught passes with 90 receptions. He fits in perfectly with the rams offense due to his speed and strength. This guy took almost every snap last year, a complete work horse.
Terrel Owens's biggest fantasy buzz in the offseason was getting rid of coach parcells. Whether TO gets along with his new head coach or not. This guy is going to have a solid year between 10-13 TDs.
Marques Colston is no fluke this guy missed nearly 3 games and was still able to finish with 8 TDs. During the second half of the season this guy was getting the "special treatment" from opposing defences. The double teams, defenders stacking up against him etc...Even if the defenders are able to stop him, his good hands and his strength will make him a solid WR. The explosive saints offense will only benefit Colston and boost up his numbers.

That's a very even trade. Steven Jackson should be productive, and you definitely upgraded your receiving corps. I think Matt Jones is a sleeper pick this season, while Marques Colston is a bust. He will do okay, but he will in no way reproduce his numbers from last year. The loss of Joe Horn and the almost inevitable "sophomore slump" sets in. Terrell Owens will be productive. I think it was a fairly good trade because you got the second best fantasy running back in the league and a consistent big name receiver.

Absolutely...LT to SJax is a downgrade, but TO and Colston are both top 10 WRs. I like this trade for you a lot. LT will be the best player in FF, barring major injury again this year...but Stephen Jackson should be 2nd or 3rd and not too far behind. However Matt Jones will be lucky to crack the top 30 for WRs. Nice trade!!

Yes. LT may be the best player but steven Jackson is too far bak. Matt Jones has done absoultely nothing while TO and Colston are proven players and good #1 or #2 guys.

Wow... what a great dilemma. You are giving up a Fantasy Football God in LT but getting back three great players. It would be a great deal for you if he accept.
If i was the other guy, i don't think i would accept the deal. Although i am getting LT, i would be losing Steven Jackson, Owens and Colston. There is no way his other draft picks can help with LT's points.

I'm not sure I really like it. Having LT on your team usally means and automatic top 3 finish. TO will have a solid year but I don't think COlston will be able to produce as big numbers as he did last year. Overall, upgrade in WR but thats about it.
