You could have him try to sell it. Lots of options here. There's craiglist.org or cycletrader.com, etc... or have him sell it locally.
Why can't he make the payment? Is he swamped with other debt or did he lose his source of income? If it's the first, he might be able to consolidate his bills into one payment. Sometimes you can save a lot by doing that.
If he's a homeowner, he could roll it into a second mortgage on his house.
If he absolutely can't sell it or pay for it, have him take it back to the dealership. A voluntary repossession looks better on his credit than an involuntary (where the repo man comes and takes it away). Keep in mind with a repo that they will auction it off and he will still be liable to pay for whatever the difference of the auction sale price and what he owes. It should be a last resort to go with the repo.
I hope that helps you out...?

Never buy something you cant afford, I've learned that the hard way. But one thing you can do if you don't wanna loose your bike is to take out a loan but make sure you pay the loan back as soon as possible or you will pile up the interests.

If HE is working and the payment is too high...did he finance throught the dealer? If so try and refiniance it first if you think 30 dollars a month will help. If not he should put it up for sale.

How about you get a job and help him out?
Sounds far more reasonable than a bunch of strangers from a chat room solving your guys personal finance problems.
I'm sure you enjoy and benefit from the bike too, why not step up and take some responsibility yourself?
Sounds like you are not willing to help him ,but you expect strangers to.

you shouldnt be the one to solve your boyfriends problem. Do not loan money to him. if he cant make the payment then he shouldnt even get the bike in the first place. He can go to check into cash, JG wenworth, speedycash. or at the very worst sell the bike. or even promot it and put ads on the bike.

If it's a single payment he is having trouble with he should contact the bank he is financed with and see if they can work something out for one pay period. If it's trouble paying in general he really should sell the bike before it kills his credit.

contact the finance company, if he has a good payment history, he can request that he be allowed to skip a payment this month, it gets added to the end of the loan.

He should either get a loan or do overtime. If he already has a loan and is working overtime, he needs to sell it until he has some cash. Plus if he is kind of hinting toward you giving him a loan, dump him. Don't let him mooch off of you.
