by any chance, do you mean "the Saints?"
and yes, I believe that they'll have 16 regular season games in which teams compete with THEM
quite possibly a playoff game or two also.
P.S. Just because they're your favorite team, doesn't mean they'll dominate.

There are plenty of teams that can and will give the Saints good competition in the NFC, but I think the Bears will take it again. The reason is because they have a huge advantage over other NFC teams in the fact that their DEFENSE can score. That is the reason they went all the way to the Super Bowl with Rex. You don't have to put big numbers on offense if you know your defense can give you 14 points while you are on the sidelines. Also, people forget that this was Grossman's first year as a starter. He will be MUCH better in 07!

I love how I answer these questions every time, knowing that there is no way I will get best answer because clearly you're looking for someone to say that the Saints are outright dominant.
Well, sorry to disappoint, but the Saints are far from a dynasty. They had ONE 10-6 season. They struggled late in last season (starting off 5-1 and then going 5-5 for the rest of the season), and they were 4-5 against teams with .500 or better records. Their run defense is weak (opponents averaged 4.94 yards per carry agasints them), and their rushing offense is overrated (averaged only 3.73 yards per attempt last season). Furthermore, I do not trust their depth at any position. If Brees goes down, do you like your chances with Jamie Martin? If Bush OR McAlliser goes down, the other one will suffer greatly (you're fooling yourself if you think Bush can run the ball). I think their defense is going to get torched this season, and they're going to finish at 9-7 or 10-6, and that is assuming they stay healthy. They'll make the playoffs, but I think the Panthers will take the division. The Eagles, Bears, and the Cowboys are all equally talented if not better than the Saints.
So to answer your question, yes, teams can compete with them.

I can't see any NFC team being able to stop them this year and yes that does include the Bears. The Saints have improved on offense and their defense will be even better too. The only reason Chicago made it to the NFC championship last year was because of their easy schedule thus allowing them to have homefield advantage. It won't happen this year. Dallas has a new coach that never was anything special in the first place. The Saints just have too many offensive weapons at their disposal.

Yes, the Bears, that demolished your team 39-14. Plus, the kicker scored more points then your team did in that game. And who can forget the my Bears D, which forced 3 fumbles in the first quarter and 5 for the game. And who can forgot Drew Brees, who fumbled it twice and threw a game ending interception. Plus the Bears got better, and if they were able to demolish you with to defensive Pro-Bowlers injuried, then by how much will they demolish you when those 2 Pro-Bowlers are back.
O yea the Bears are winning the Superbowl and the NFC championship

I do think the Cowboys, Eagles, Panthers, Bears, and Buccaneers can compete with the Saints. I do think that all these games would be worth watching. The Saints do have a great offense but I'm not really sold on that defense. That's why I would pick the Cowboys and Bears to beat the Saints.

The NFC is wide open and so anything is possible. Carolina will be better, so will Tampa Bay and Saints have to travel to Chicago and Indianapolis so let's not put the Saints in the Super Bowl just yet. Jason Campbell will have a break out season and watch for the Redskins

yes, like stated, the 16 teams they play against this year will indeed compete with them !
i do think the saints are a very good & talented team this year, no question ! should indeed make the playoffs as well !
the afc, seems like a lot stronger to me than the nfc & their alwasy surprise teams every year ( like the saints that came out of no where last year, the bears the year before, ect..)
also, the bears did crush the saints in last years game 39 to 14 !! teams will be ready for them this year. the saints have a great offense & will score lots of points this year, be a fun team to watch ! ( un like my vikings who will be lucky to win 6 games this year & have no offense & are very boring to watch ,lol)
