Your use of the word 'always' is pretty bold. I'm male, and I don't believe I've ever asked what someone was wearing while chatting. Most guys who DO ask what someone else is wearing are retarded wankers who, in a vast world full of interesting subjects, can't think of anything better to think about than sex, and are so desperate that it's come down to asking what girls are wearing while chatting (and hoping they're not wearing anything at all despite the fact that they can't see anything over the chat line).
