My ex use to say that I luv ya crap...I thought if you really mean it, take the time to say it the right way. It might be cute for a minute, but When he said it all the time, it got so annoying.

He doesn't say either. He tends to say "You're not as mean as you used to be" if he's trying to verbalize his feelings but he's not a talking kind of guy. So he jokes that I'm not as mean as I used to be.
On the other hand, actions speak louder than words and his actions show he cares. Stuff like giving me a backrub when he can tell I'm feeling stiff or doing little chores around my house.

Since we have pet names for eachother we usually say I Love You (enter pet name here)

It depends on his mood, sometimes he says I love you, or love you sometimes he says Luv ya and sometimes he says love ya and sometimes he doesn't tell me he loves me at all. :S
