How often should i use a water conditioner for my betta's water?

I used it once...do i need to use this on a daily basis?

You should use water conditioner on any water you are going to put your betta into, *before* your betta is placed in the water. So you should do it once every water change. After you have conditioned some water, you will not need to condition it again, so no you do not need to add it on a daily basis.

Basically, condition all "new" water.

Use it when you add new water. Use enough to treat the amount of water you replace, not the whole tank (unless you have it in a bowl and replace all of the water). Hopefully you do not use distilled water, since it is lacking essential minerals and nutrients important to the fish.

Whenever you change the water, put some of the conditioner into distilled water and mix it up before you put the fish into the new water. It's a one-time thing, not a daily thing.

I do it when i change his water and once a week....t says it helps enhance the bacterial bed on tetra aquasafe....if its in a bowl just when you change his water....
