yes, everyone is just out for themselves these days and aren't even loyal to themselves let alone people they care about.

I don't believe loyalty has been forgotten as much as it has been ignored. From my own observations, society chooses to reward those that go along with the crowd...loyalty falls between the cracks unless it proves to serve a purpose.

Loyalty? Huh? what's that?
I think it to be more true that people have forgotten the benefits of being loyal. They don't seem to realize that loyalty means 'through thick and thin'. And when things are 'thick' (tough) they forget about all the times when things are 'thin'. And that life is not always sunshine and daydreams. For without cloudy skies we would not appreciate the sunshine.

Mostly by capitalist scum who only have loyalty to the almighty dollar.
Is that a little harsh. Could people see I made a joke with a bit of truth. I wonder?

Yes, it is a dog-eat-dog world now. Everyone is putting himself and his family first, which is how it should be. The loyalty you speak of is unfortunately a thing of the past.
Enjoy your day!

Yes, I do. People are looking way too far into this whole independence thing. It's all a part of being in the "ME" Generation. No one ever cares about other people's feelings anymore. It really is sad.

Yes. I have extreme loyalty. I have always been that way and always will be, I am extremely choosy about who I hang out with, I scope them long before I hang with them, then I know I CAN hang with them for a long time. It is in my nature.

In general life I would say no, but on the job yes. It used to be that employees were loyal to the employer and in turn the company was loyal to the employees.

loyalty is very important!! anyway to me it is,, it gains trust, and bonding. especially with the one you love,, and yes, its been forgotten! at least by some, ppl cheat, lie, steal, u name it, even when they say that they love someone,, that is not love,, if it were real love they wouldnt even think about it!

For the most part yes. It seems that you used to be able to count on people, and you knew that they were there for you no matter what. It doesn't seem quite the same anymore.
