I can't remember where, but I once saw a poem that read the same backward and forward. About six lines. Now that's a long palindrome.
There is a movie called "Palindromes" in which the names of the characters Aviva, Bob and Otto are all palindromes - as per the title of the film.

It's called a 'palindrome', and an example of that would be a word like; madam.....or Malayalam. Which I believe is the longest word palindrome.
