Hey, I've been thinking about doing the same thing since I got here. Unfortunatley, I can't make money sitting at home on my butt so I just suffer through it and stay on Y!A all day long.

I know the feeling. But, that will not look very good to your employer and co-workers. It will be obvious that you're not sick. If you are the boss, you are not setting a good example.
Unless your self-employed...in that case go home. Otherwise it's just one more day.

Ew, hate to tell ya this but your human resources people might not pay for your first day of vacation if you skip out sick today. They usually have rules about it. I used to work in HR, that's what we did. Lots of people used to call in sick before Christmas and they'd get reallllly mad that they didn't get sick pay and lost one day of vacation pay.

Yes, I'm about to do it myself. I figure I'm doing the company a favor by going home. I'm not in the mood to do any work. I'm not focused and I'm def. not productive so why waste my boss' time and mine. Go home, enjoy your vacation!
