Cubs are going to the playoffs this year getting kerry wood in their bullpen is a very good addition after looking at his rehab starts he's been throwing 94 mph consistently. Cubs are going to make it also because the brewers are the only team that's challenging them for 1st place basically a 2 team race in that division currently at 2nd place are the cards and there's no way that they're going to make a comeback. The brewers hasn't been getting same production from their key players such as fielder and hardy which basically the two guys helped them succeed in the 1st half so cubs all the way i predicted them to win the central during the offseason and im sticking with them to win the central

Hell yeah they are the best team in the central by far they have Derrek Lee, Alfonso Soriono, and Aramis Ramirez. They also have 2ND in Cy young voting so far Carlos Zambrono.They also have young great bats in Ryan 'the riot' Theriot and Mike Fontonot. There Young guns in Sean Marshall, Carlos Marmol and Rich Hill and the experienced Ted Lilly and Kerry Wood. With Hot tempered Lou Pinniella They are sure playoff contenders in the nl Central and wild card. Just make sure no Black cat runs on the field or someone with a goat trys to get in. GO CUBS GO!

It's going to be close because the Brewers are struggling but anytime now they could get on a Hot streak. But If the all of the cubs players stay healthy they will be good and will probarly make it in the Wild Card by a 1/2 of a game.

Don't get too excited...like Sweet Lou said, being in first place on August 3rd is nice but we want to be in first place at the end of the season. I think the Cubs will make the playoffs, because, without Sheets, the Brewers are going to struggle.

yeah ya are! im not a cubs fan but its been to long without a ring. no the cubs are not going to win it all this year but they are making noise! nice to see em winning again..even without prior and woods...

They have a pretty nice chance. If Aramis Ramirez, Derrek Lee, Alfonso Soriano, and the rest of the team stays one of the hottest teams in baseball, then yeah.
