Yes I was so excited to be a big girl...I remember I walked to the class in nice new clothes and My Mom was with me and I was so excited to make new friends and meet my teacher :))) there was this girl there with her mom and she was crying and I felt bad for her she did not want to go inside the class ...I could not understand it and I said to My Moma bye bye hahahehe I was so independent even at 5 years old...the other girl her name was Diana her mom had to sit in the classroom for an entire month until the girl was not sad and afraid anymore I will never forget her...My mom and her mom became friends and we went to catholic school together a few years later......I lost contact with her but I will never forget my first day of Kindergarten :))))))

Yes. I remember my mom telling me not to be afraid, and if anyone else was afraid, I should comfort them or befriend them in some way to make them feel better. Then, after the first day was out, my mom brought me a balloon, and I didn't want a balloon, so I made her let me let it go, and it floated away. After I did it, I realized how wrong I was, and then I was sad for a few days, and regret it even now. How was that for an answer?

Yes... though the memory of the bus ride is more vivid. I sat with a girl wearing a blue and white polka-dotted dress, and I was excited and expecting school to be a wonderful place.... boooy was I wrong XD

Yes it is burned in to my memory forever. I was in love with my kindergarten teacher. Her name was Ms. Mullings and she
was so beautiful, she would light up the whole room when she
entered. I had a sister than was two years older than me and she had taught me my ABC's and the whole mutiplication table. I just knew Ms. Mullings would fall in love with me because I was so smart. She had me stand up and repeat the whole mutiplication table to the class. She was so proud of me, I just knew she was going to marry me. That question brought back fond memories. Thanks for asking

OMG yes! I cried like a baby when my mama left to go to work (I wasn't the only one!). But, by the end of the day I'd made a bunch of friends and got to like my teacher so it wasn't all that bad.
