Any child w/ a developmental disorder - is ILL... NOT BAD.
Things like ADHD and autism are conditions that can be treated. I don't know if he needs a psychologist as he does a behavioral therapist. Talk to his pediatrician first... if it's a compulsion he has, it could be something different going on.
Does God dislike him, is he sinning? if you are a Christian, you should know that the answer is a resounding NO.
And I don't think you're bad for letting him wear them either. But please take him to the doctor, because he needs more help than you can provide. You're doing good to keep him happy and safe, but developmental or learning issues should be diagnosed and treated by professionals.
Good luck :)

Ummmm that is just weird. God loves your child just like he loves you and expects you to take good care of your son with lots of love and attention and patience. So no, he is not sinning, he is a child who learns from his parents on what is right and wrong in life. He will learn from your patient guidance on what to do. Why are you making him wear diapers? ( how old is he, and I do understand those with ADHD can take longer) If he is at the potty training age, maybe you should have him pick out a cool pack of underwear - with some cartoon figure he really likes or something- and have him wear those during the day, make a really big deal out of it if he goes into the potty ( on the Charmin website you can order a free kit for potty training that comes with a little wheel and stickers to put on it every time he goes, washes his hands after and so on). Buy him pull ups....... a psychologist, again...how old is he?!?!?!?
Ok if he is really 14, i need to change my thinking...is this for real?!?!?!?!? Get him underwear, how can he even fit into diapers...this is disgusting, he does need to see a dr. No more diapers AT ALL...lay out some consequences for him...weird

You didn't tell us the age of your son, so I'm assuming he's a teenager. This is not as uncommon as you'd think.
Your son is not sinning. No where in the Bible does it say anything about not wearing diapers. This does not affect his eternal soul.
He's just ill. Mentally ill. Seeing a psychologist is a great start. Seeing a psychiatrist would be good, too.
Here is a website that you will find very helpful, National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI.org). It has representatives (free, of course) in your area who can help you find drs., support, whatever you need. No one is going to judge you or him, believe me, they've seen it all. Also on the website is oodles of information about all types of mental illness, and I bet your son's is in there, too.
Take care. Don't let this upset you. He's just doing what feels right, even though it seems strange to you and me. It can be treated. With meds and therapy, I'd bet my last dollar that his condition will improve drastically.

Wow...first of all....CHILL. How old is your son? You have to remember one thing, ADHD or not, he's a child. Kids do the darndest thing and they always will. It's not sinning, more so a bad habit. If he's able to change his own diaper then you need to potty train him fast. By wearing a dirty diaper for to long he could get bad diaper rash or even an infection. It's not healthy, especially if it's an old one. But don't blame yourself, there's nothing wrong with it, he's just being a kid. So just relax and remember his age....

I dont know about your son being weird but that is the weirest question I have EVER seen on here... especially when I got to the part about "does god dislike him"... I had to wonder if you were serious...
how old is your son?? he must be fairly old if he has $ and can go to the store to buy diapers for himself...
if he is older kid he probably was jealous of all the attention you gave the younger ones when changing them - or misses that "baby" feeling - definately needs psychological help...

Okay you shouldnt be buying them and how old is your son. I have a friend her daughter is 4 she likes wearing the pull ups because it makes her feel like she is a baby again and it gets her attention. And honestly the thing about god are you serious. Good doesnt dislike him and no he isnt sinning. This is something that you have to set your child down and explain to him.

Sweet Pea no God does not dislike him and I don't think he is sinning because he obvious feel comfortable doing this and don't know it is a problem. I think if you get him some help he will stop doing it. Good luck and God bless!

I don't think he's sinning and I'm pretty sure God will be fine with it, but you're being a bad parent by allowing him to continue wearing them.
