We all know it's just a matter of time. No way any lib is going to let this go without somehow blaming Bush or Global Warming.

Actually yes. The White House has been blamed by some Dems for vetoing a spending bill that they claim would have provided funds to fix the bridge. i guess the fact that the state had been getting money from the feds for the 40 years that the bridge was there doesn't mean anything.

Well, I'm a lib, and I've never done either of those things. In fact, the only people I hear constantly politicizing this tragedy are neocons who can't stop partisan bashing for the five minutes it takes them to formulate some stupid post about how liberals are "going to blame Bush; it's only a matter of time." Meanwhile, using this tragedy to further a political agenda is just f**king disgusting. People make me sick. Bring an argument to the table that has merit, and maybe people will debate you. I swear to God, if your dog had puppies, you people would find a way to turn it into a political platform plank.

Congress became warned in 1998 that the economic device and the banks have been headed for a meltdown if the derivatives markets and credit-default-swaps have been not extra regulated and sparkling. Alan Greenspan rejected that concept. Bush did no longer "give way" the economic device, yet those tax cuts, and a pair of wars positioned the US in such debt that it has to flow even farther into debt in basic terms to maintain the economic device afloat. It wasn't Pelosi and Reid. It became the bankers who took advantage of lax regulations and committed outright fraud that brought about all that value in the interior maximum loan markets and the inventory marketplace to vanish in one day - actually, trillions of greenbacks.

Well, this is new, bringing up an issue that is not supported be any announcements. Do you have any specific statements made by Democratic political leaders? Bridge inspections have been under heavy duty budget cuts the last 15 to 20 years, so, if anything is being said by a credible politicians, perhaps this is what is being inferred, discussed, or mentioned. I must honestly say, the GOP showed nothing but disdain for Clinton his entire tenure in office, so, in the polerized extreme context of our era, any blame game doesn't surprise me.

I would like to take this time to pray for the victims and their families. I pray that the missing are found and laid to rest. I pray that we learn from this disaster and how to prevent it in the future. I pray that the people of Minn. can heal their fear and move past this tragedy.

I heard someone say it was his fault but I didn't pay attention to who because it was expected...

"If we were not involved in war our infrastructure would have had a the funds to be fixed."

or there abouts.

But hey how about this...it's Clinton's fault...the problems were known in the 90's but because he was supposedly trying to balance the budget with a surplus he put peoples lives in danger for his own personal gain.I think it works.

When are you going to grow up and quit trying to put words in other people's mouths?

not yet but just wait it will happen. Haven't you learned yet that everything is his fault. I saw a bumper sticker the over day that said "make levees not war" yeah he formed Katrina and set her off on LA. Always his fault.
