Woman, you can get pregnant any time, anywhere, in any position. You are most fertile about halfway between periods, but trust me, you are not safe from pregnancy at other times.

What's worse you are not safe from STDs. Please stop having unprotected sex. Ever. You are risking your health, your fertility, your future, and even your life. Get a supply of condoms and insist on using them, every time.

Well, two facets wasted, but here goes. Of path she can get pregnant, although the chances are very small. But what is eerie is the quantity of persons who say that having intercourse for the duration of a lady's period is by some means dirty or awful. It is a topic that's thoroughly up to the companions themselves. Many times, having intercourse at "that time of the month" -- at the least after the primary day when flow is heaviest is a great way to increase the complicity and acceptance within the couple. Why so many girls (specifically americans) think it's "icky" and "horrible" and "perverted" is solely one more indication of how much disgrace about sex we now have retained in our supposedly contemporary culture. I will admit the man (!) has a point who said there are wellness causes to abstain -- the body cleansing itself and the cervix being open . Still, for me probably the most matters that i really like most in a lady is that she is a female. Being a female entails durations. And intercourse , whether it can be at that time, or in the course of even evolved pregnancy (as good as anal and suchlike) are all matters that I've skilled and determined can increase real intimacy. And i've "long gone down" on my associate for the period of that time, too. In fact, within the Orient, some individuals without a doubt drink younger ladies' menstrual blood as a tonic-- that you could purchase it out there! Extreme, however actual. In all, probably that's not what we Westerners are fairly occupied with -- realizing the opposite person we love and letting them understand us. Look at the avatars of the people who're so grossed out and bowled over. What could be sillier than a Puritan with piercings, tatoos, and spiky red hair? That's what I say.

If you are sure it was a real period then the chances are very low.

In order to get pregnant, a sperm must meet and fertilize an egg, so any factors that affect this also affect your fertility. These include: the timing of ovulation, how long the egg lasts, whether there are any sperm present and how long sperm can live inside you.

Women who have regular periods can easily calculate when ovulation occurs. Ovulation almost always happens 14 days before you expect your period. For a woman who has 28 day cycles, that would be in the exact middle of the cycle, 14 days after the last period and 14 days before the next one. Women who have 30 day cycles can expect to ovulate 16 days after the last period, which is 14 days before the next one. Since most women have periods that last from 4-7 days, the chances of getting pregnant during your period are very low.

There is an important exception to this, however. Women who have irregular cycles cannot predict when they will ovulate. Furthermore, many women who have irregular periods also have episodes of irregular bleeding that are not periods, even though they look like periods. If you have sex during an episode of irregular bleeding, you might ovulate soon thereafter, and therefore you could get pregnant

It's very possible for you to get pregnant. There are only, I think, two days during the month where you can't get pregnant, and it's always while you're on your period. Not to mention hard to figure out which days they are!

Condoms and pills are a GREAT way to prevent an unwanted pregnancy.

You won't be able to buy an at home pregnancy test until at least 5 days before your period. I'm not sure which tests those are, but I know they exist. Or you'll just have to wait until after you miss your period to find out.

You can get pregnant at anytime, even during your period. If you don't want to get pregnant, don't have unprotected sex, ever. Despite what is considered normal, women can ovulate at any time. Don't take chances - protect yourself and your partner by using a condom with spermicide every time.

You could get pregnant at any time during your cycle. it is just more likely to do so when you are ovulating (and sperm can live inside you for several days). If you don't want a baby you HAVE to use protection.

It all depends on when you ovulate. Some women ovulate while they are on their period. So it all depends on your body. So you could be pregnant.
