I agree with Lalana I don't like saying anything bad about another part of the city but I will say that I wouldn't live there. I also agree that the Sea World area is a very good area. It is the fastest growing area in San Antonio. I will also point out that the traffic situation isn't real bad there either I mean going back and forth from Sea World to Brooks and back. Because of the vast new growth in the Sea World all of the amenities schools, churches, businesses, etc. are also new and the crime rate so far is very low. Within 2 miles of Sea World there is 50,000 new houses costing between $100,000 to about $300,000. There is a new HEB Plus, Super Wal-mart, several colleges, New General Hospital, several motels, car washers, banks, places to eat, storage facilities, Doctor's and Dentists offices. There is a new high school, and several new middle schools, and elementary schools.

I would suggest moving away from that particular area and driving a bit. Perhaps off to the Northwest near Seaworld or a small town outside San Antonio. The Northside ISD. I used to live in SAISD on the Northern edge. The elementary was wonderful, but I wouldn't send my worst enemy to the middle school, just too mean and rough. SSAISD is not good either. I do hear good things about East Central District. And that's not far from that area either, but they are after all going outside the city already. Southwest ISD is nice, too. Here are some sites. and Pleasanton isn't far and it's a real nice little town for kids to grow up in.
