Carl is letting LJ throw his fit, but he is still under contract. LJ has to get some money so he will eventually report or settle for Carl's more realistic figures. LJ is not worth LT money because he cannot block or catch like LT. Carl is standing his ground and if LJ does not want the raise Carl is offering he is stupid. Next year KC will Franchise him so he won't get to free agency then either. Carl offered him a raise if he doesn't take it he will still be a chief until Carl is done with him. Carl holds all the cards. As for Bowe he is just an idiot and is wasting his chance to start in the NFL by not coming to camp, a rookie contract is pretty simple once everyone has signed, he should just be slotted in with the picks around him. He just needs to sign his name.

I totally agree with you get in camp and don't worry about a contract until after the season. But right now LJ is going to need a new contract to pay the just over $14,000 a day fine for missing training camp.

Carl Peterson is a bonehead manager of the Chiefs. Letting L.J. sit out there with no indication of interest is STUPID. Considering a trade with Green Bay involving Tony Gonzalez earlier this year was STUPID. Having Brodie Croyle start in front of Damon Huard this year is STUPID. Having Trent Green start in front of Damon Huard "last" year was STUPID. Not replacing Roaf with a good OL in the draft was STUPID. I like Kansas City, but it is like Peterson is gambling that a stable running back can carry his team to the playoffs. It worked last year, but that is when Roaf was on the line. Beefing up the defense with some B-listers won't help. Sadly, they'll be mediocre again (7-9, or 8-8 at best).

If that's how you feel why not ask your king to trade LJ or pay him like the player he is! When P.Holmes was in his contract year they signed him long term. Why not LJ?
If you were 1 of the top 3 at what you did you wouldn't want to be paid like one of the worst!!!

It is something that the Chiefs can ill afford to lose but they do have Priest Holmes and he is more than capable of carrying the load barring any more injuries. If they trade him , then trade him to someone who will give them more value. Your owner has a poor attitude and desires not to do the right thing. Maybe that is why the Chiefs have not gone and won a Super Bowl in 38 years.

BECAUSE CARL PETERSON IS A MORON hes the worst gm in the nfl nobody else could have kept their job as long and not delivered anything as carl has, of course being a raider fan im thankful because i think you know as well as i do the chiefs will never do anything as long as king carl is at the helm so i say keep him employed for 10 m,ore years please rotflmfao.....also carl is such a camera whore good lord dude is all over the place do you even know the name of gms from anyother team....NO....also carl isint well liked in the nfl community because of his constant whining and airing dirty laundry in public, its also the reason the chiefs cant ever sign any big name free agents unless they are on their death beds...so i say long live King Carl!!!
