Great question..... many answers but not quite hitting the nail... the unexpected act of kindness is close, but I think it makes one feel obliged. To me, the right answer appears to be a genuine praise from one whom we respect, value or admire.... literally hits the nail on the head (assuming ego must reside somewhere close to the brain).... it is ego-boost that sweeps us off our feet!!

What sweeps me off my feet, I would have to say acts of kindness toward others, love and real gentlemen and their behavior. Oh yes and people who have a huge soft spot for humanity and nature. In other words real, honest, kind and caring people. Oh and lets not forget truly amazing, long and very intimate s**. =))). Also, people who accept others as they are, black, white , red, bi, straight, gay, male or female,etc. a love for all. Oh and nature, i love being in the woods it gives me a quiet happiness and calm that sweeps me off my feet.

But I would have to say when someone does a kind thing for me ...without me asking them too..................
Someone that is thoughtful and remembers something that I have mentioned in the past that I wanted like a pair of coke glasses for my kitchen or a plant or a cd with my favorite songs....the little things in life can make a grand impression on ones senses :))))
Or when a cute guy smiles at me and says I am cute hahaha I get shy but it always makes my day hahaha or when a guy stops traffic on a Highway hahaehehe to try and get my number and holds up all the traffic in the fast lane to funny that happened to me last weekend hahehehe ...............
