Definitely! Every shop here encourages you to use cloth bags. Even the bakeries take off some money if you actually use their cloth bags. We all know plastic bags do not degrade for a couple of centuries

I just started doing this about a month ago.found a HUGE cloth bag for $1....I tell them to fill it and then plastic bags for the rest..you still need garbage bags...BUT I figure if even every other person did this, it'd be at least a little help!!

I have cloth bags for shopping and sometimes I ever remember to bring them with me when I go to the supermarket.....
I have the best of intentions, it's my execution that's lacking.
