I think that we are no more safer today than we were on 9/11. I think that the country and government needs to bring our troops home to monitor our homeland and forget the Iraq people. I believe that if we did this, then our country would be safe and much more secure.

No because Homeland Security is such a mess. I'm not convinced they've got it together yet, either. After Katrina when Bush told U.S. citizens that 'you're on your own in a major disaster', why do we even need Homeland Security?

By all means yes. Particularly since we have that spectacular brain trust that is "The View" to weigh in on the matter. And with the addition of Whoopie Goldberg, the U.S. is all powerful.

not really, because airports are still our weakest part, as shown on Good Morning America Recently, an airport at night would skip bag checks and slack off a bit, thus increasing the chance that terrorists could strike.

No not at all, we have a long way to go in order to protect our national security. As long as we allow these illegal aliens to enter this country we are in trouble.

I'm from New York City, and I feel safe. And it's not because of our BS government... it's because we have the best police force on the planet (and they're not incompetent like our president).

But seriously, no. I feel threatened from the inside and from the outside. The world is sick, and we have every reason to be paranoid.
