If you do not have a text plan it will cost you a text fee. If you have AT&T they will also charge you a kb fee which is generally a penny per kb. Common texting fee is 10 cents and 25 cents depending on service provider and if it is a plain text of a picture text. Verizon only charges a text fee.

if you have a plan it is just like a regular text if not they usually charge like a nickel for 1 text so it wouldn't be too bad if you sent a few.
