I feel bad for his daughter having to go through this stuff, but not for him. He brought all this on himself by being a jerk to the fans and media for his whole career. I think thats the main reason people hate him, not the steroid issue. A lot of other guys are suspected of using them but aren't near as vilified as Bonds. Look at Giambi, he's admitted to using them and isn't treated nearly as bad as Bonds has been. I know he isn't about to set the most storied record in sports, but he's an admitted user while for Bonds its still not proven no matter what the vast majority of people believe.

Oh, the one who was giving the "LOSER" sign (L sign on the forehead) last night when Grady Little walked Bonds? Ya, she seems like a chip off the old block of her daddy boy. That's how to teach your kid to be respectful Barry. Not surprised though. Lets not forget there is a REAL game going on and no opposing coach should tweak their stategies to accomodate a cheater and his quest to break a record. Oh, and teach your kid some manners.
In addition: the girl is probably stressed, because every time her daddy comes up to hit she has to stop coloring in her coloring book and act like she gives a shiet, cuz mommy told her to sit up and smile for the cameras.

Did you read that article on Yahoo! Sports, about the guys who were dressed up as Barry Bonds and that BALCO chemist, and his daughter didn't get it? Isn't that horrible? He needs to tell his daughter about everything, explain what's happening, and not let her go to any ball games for awhile. He shouldn't get his daughter involved, and let her see things. I hate Bonds, but a child should never be exposed to that happening to one of her parents.

Thats her problem.
Every major leaguer gets taunted at some point in his career. The players, their family and friends need to have thick skin. And his daughter should realize that given the circumstances her father is going take alot of heat.

yeah now i want him to break the record because its exciting, and yes he may have cheated whether he really knew it or not, but damn! its not like hes a john rocker here and just dissed every person in the world and ever race, he took a steroid, maybe he knew it was illegal, or maybe his trainer told him it was but it wasnt, we dont know yet. but for the treatment hes getting...i think its rediculous. now if he came out and just said he did something and told the truth or whatever, yeah fans would respect him a little more. but hes getting too much crap, if his own daughter is crying at a baseball game for her father, then the fans are going too far. boo him or whatever, but dont insult him.

I wonder what he means by an "emotional breakdown". What? Did she just cry or something?

Gee, I've got an idea - hire a baby sitter and leave your kid at home like normal people do when they go to work.
